About me

I am currently a Heilbronn Research Fellow at the University of Bristol.
Previously, I spent a month at Bar-Ilan university working with Gideon Amir; two years at UCLouvain working with Pierre-Emmanuel Caprace; a year at Université Paris-Sud, Orsay working with Romain Tessera; and I was the (first) McDuff Postdoctoral Fellow at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute during the Fall 2016 semester. From 2017-2020, I was a Titchmarsh Research Fellow in the Topology group at the University of Oxford, a Junior Research Fellow at St Cross College and an Enterprise Fellow of the Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Division.

I completed my PhD at the University of Oxford under the supervision of Cornelia Drutu, and wrote a Master's thesis at the University of Birmingham under the supervision of Ralf Köhl.
My PhD thesis is available for download here and my master's thesis here.

You can watch me giving a conference talk at the Isaac Newton Institute here, and a podcast about the Sierpinski carpet here.

I completed my Developing Learning and Teaching SEDA PDF Supporting Learning Award in April 2019.
In spring 2018 I taught a graduate (TCC) course on Totally Disconnected Locally Compact Groups.

Some of my ramblings about expanders can be found here.
