Location and how to get here

The workshop will take place in Howard House, which is on Queen's Avenue.

The hotel is the Clifton, which is on St Paul's Road, a five minute walk from Howard House.

Getting to the hotel and Howard House is easy:
  • Train Get a train to Bristol Temple Meads (not Parkway). There are several buses which go to Clifton. Any of the 1, 2, 8, or 9 go the right way and they leave every 10 minutes. The rank for the 8, or 9 is half way down the exit to the station and the 1 and 2 go from just across the road you can see at the exit to the station. There are maps inside to tell you exactly where. The bus fare is £2 and they take contactless cards. Please keep your ticket so we can claim it back!

  • Airport To get from Bristol airport to the city you get the A1 bus from the airport and then you can change in the centre to get a 1,2,8, or 9. This should all be included on the same ticket. They do return tickets where the return can be a week later.
