In 2015 the annual Postgraduate Group Theory Conference is in its 17th year and this year it will find a home at the University of Bristol between 30 June and 3 July.

The Postgraduate Group Theory Conference (PGTC) is an annual conference that is organised by PhD students for PhD students. The idea of the conference is to provide a friendly environment for PhD students working in Group Theory and related areas to meet each other and discuss their work. It is hoped that the connections made at this conference could lead to collaborative research projects that improve the overall profile of mathematics research in the UK.

This year we are proud to host Dr. Karin Erdmann (Oxford University) and Prof. Sarah Hart (Birkbeck) to open and close the conference. See the speakers page for more details. With the remaining time devoted to 25-minute contributed talks—we encorage all attendees to give a presentation, whether in your first year of study or last.

Unfortunately the deadline for registration to this conference is now closed.
