The code and data provided here are for use during the computer session on volcanic plumes at the 1st International Training School on Convective and volcanic clouds detection, monitoring and modelling.

Here is the matlab function PurePlume.m that solves the system of ordinary differential equations for a pure plume with a point source of buoyancy.
Part 2 of the exercises uses the PlumeRise web-tool. The atmospheric data provided here is used in the exercises for Part 2.
