DirectionsGoto the university-maintained web site for instructions on how to get to Bristol A map, showing the location of the Maths Department, the bottom of the M32, the Hotels listed in the Accommodation section, Bristol Temple Meads, and the venue for the evening reception can be downloaded from Here If coming via train directly to the Department, then take the number 9 bus from outside Temple Meads and ask for Woodland Road. The Bus will drop you at crossroads and you should head across the junction towards the gates of Royal Fort Gardens. The Maths Department is a short walk across the Gardens opposite the back of the Physics Building. Alternatively, ask to be dropped by taxi at Royal Fort Road at the top of St. Michael's Hill. The Department is right in front of you. If coming via train heading directly to the Clifton Hotel (note: no check in until 2pm), you can take either the number 8 or 9 bus and ask for the Victoria Rooms. The buses will drop you off close to the bottom of Whiteladies Road. It is then a short walk up Whiteladies Road from the fountain outside the Victoria Rooms to St. Pauls Road, which is first on your left. |
