nullevels

Set whole resolution levels of coefficients equal to zero.

DESCRIPTION

Generic function which sets whole resolution levels of coefficients equal to zero.

Particular methods exist. For objects of class:

imwd: use the nullevels.imwd method.
wd: use the nullevels.wd method.
wst: use the nullevels.wst method.

USAGE

nullevels(x, ...)

REQUIRED ARGUMENTS

x: a wavelet object of some kind.

OPTIONAL ARGUMENTS

...: methods may have additional arguments.

VALUE

An object of the same class as x but with the specified levels set to zero.
