Mathematics
- Lecture notes on stationarity of last passage percolation, a minicourse given in First-passage percolation and related models, ICTS Bengaluru, 2022.
- Lecture notes on martingale theory, mostly following Shiryaev, Probability and Williams, Probability with Martingales.
- Probability 1 material and beyond. This page serves as reference for basic probability. It includes the Probability 1 lecture slides, and additional material that's needed for a proper foundation in probability.
- Probability 1 lecture notes for mathematician and physicist students (in Hungarian, joint with Bálint Tóth)
- I once computed the density of the sum of n independent exponential random variables, each with different parameters. Since then I learned that this is called the Hypoexponential distribution (thanks János!).

- Text, tex, html processing
  - My LaTeX template, for a quick start with a document.
  - I've collected my favourite LaTeX abbreviations and theorem environments in style files. These are of course ever-increasing.
  - Animated PDF
  - Plotting elementary functions in PSTricks: the source of the nose function.
  - How to split a dvi file to the contents and the references?
  - \'a or á? &aaucte; or á? (in Hungarian)
  - This one here compiles all the latex files in the directory.
- Document utilities
  - This one sorts lines of a file alphabetically (needs the point-keeping stuff), while this guy shuffles them.
  - Many other stuff can be found on my GitHub page (special character-finder, print previewer, Spritz-like reader, document viewer and editor, a queueing system for viewing webpages and documents; all from the command line).
- Class points-keeping (I take no responsibility for the correct operation of any of these scripts.)
  - How to keep track of students' points in LaTeX?
  - And here is how to do it more elegantly under Linux/Unix (in Hungarian).
  - Bristol Admin is doing all the hard work for us, but it's nice to predict what they will say with this script. Or this one, if homework also counts. They use the mark scaler script.
- Media processing
  - With ImageMagick: removes exif data, cuts size to half, cuts quality to half, almost destroys quality, rotates to the right, rotates to the left, rotates upside down files in the current directory. Of course makes sense if files are actually pictures.
  - Here is how to rotate videos right or left, but mind that you might just want to remove the rotate metadata first.
- File processing
  - This one cleans up after LaTeX files. Without an argument, after all LaTeX files. With an argument, only that given as parameter.
  - Many other stuff can be found on my GitHub page (filename time-tagger and cleaner, diff-helpers, filename to clipboard copier, directory cleaner, file linker, random directory creator; all from the command line).
- Miscellaneous
  - This one from my GitHub page can tell you how many emails you should read today. :-) See also here.

  - Yet another GitHub page with further scripts waiting for the CPU load to drop, notifying about date, accounting for kids' pocket money, time and weather (nice with the gltext screensaver), waiting for Dropbox to sync, opening a terminal in the current dir, emailing you your public IP (combine with crontab: my replacement for dyndns...), and a nice terminal timer.
